Easter Eggs…Sort Of

012 003I got off to a slow start to crafting for Easter this year.  I wanted to crochet a basket full of little wool eggs, but when I looked at the calendar and realized that Easter is this Sunday…my lofty ambitions sizzled out pretty quickly. Instead, I wrapped a few little cardboard eggs in wool yarn and placed them in a nest that Michael had made for me years ago. Levi and I grabbed some sticks from our peach tree and hung some more eggs on the branches. At first I had placed them in a tall vase with pebbles and baynuts in the bottom and wrapped it in a pretty pink ribbon…and then it fell backwards and broke into a million pieces on the floor.  After that I decided to end my Easter crafting and call it a day. Hope you’re having better luck with your projects than I!

Have a wonderful Easter everyone!

Oh, you’re good! I haven’t done any Easter craft…although, I can cheat because Russian Orthodox Easter isn’t until May 5th, so I have a few more weeks, but still probably won’t get anything done! I love your woolly eggs. Too bad about your vase 😦 I broke one a few weeks ago too. Made such a mess!

these are fabulous! I added to Mum’s Easter tree with a crazy easter egg chick thing….. lots of feathers and glue….. very untasteful… but fun to make! These are far better 🙂 x

As long as it’s fun, that’s all that matters!
