This Moment

In the words of Amanda Soule:

{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

If you’re inspired to do the same, leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.

A day late on my “moment” post and since it’s technically not Friday, I am choosing to use words.  Levi chose the flowers for me yesterday on our Mama/Levi date. We needed some one on one bonding time after a really long and stressful week together. While at the store, he picked up these sunflowers and put them in his shopping cart. I said, “Oh, honey we really don’t need to buy those flowers right now.”  He replied, “but I want to buy them for you Mommy because I love you so much.”  How could I resist? If he had his own money he would’ve bought them for me, I’m sure. Just when you think you’re losing the parenting game, your kid hits a home run out of the park.
