This is Levi’s chalkboard in his bedroom. Sometimes we use it as a place to draw out stories for him (or him for us). Sometimes it’s a scribble board for when he’s feeling mad or frustrated. Sometimes we practice his name. It’s a useful tool to have around, a chalkboard. I love them and have several all over the house.
When I was out the other night, Michael put the boys to bed so I didn’t see this until the next morning when I went into his room. I chuckled and thought about Michael expounding on the finer points of winemaking to our almost 4 year old son the night before. That night at storytime, I asked Levi to tell me about the diagram on his chalkboard.
Excitedly and with many hand gesticulations, this is what he said:
“The grapes go into the squisher (wild hand rotations) and then all the juice goes into a big bathtub (baftub) and then they put it into some wood for like 5 yrs and then we drink it.”
OK folks…so there you have it.
This lesson on vinification brought to you by Michael and Levi Weyna.
I could make wine like that! Thank, Levi, for making it so accessible;)
